Dixie has never ceased to amaze us, and we got to calling her our 'Wonder Horse'. This beautiful mare has excelled in Cowboy Mounted Shooting, and Extreme Cowboy Racing. She is a versatile sport horse, and has competed across 22 states, from Texas to Montana to the east coast and almost every location in between. Always sound, always ready to load, walks calmly into the arena, and ready to run...fast! Or slow, if that's your preference, because she will definitely rate. She is a great horse for any level shooter or rider, and has excelled at multiple competitions.

She will move off your leg, ground tie, move to the mounting block, and be still while a rider is on her back. She will cross streams, play in the water sprinkler, and is the clown of our small herd. She gets along well with other horses, and is pretty low on the totem pole. But when the time comes to compete, she's fierce and enjoys her job!
