Carlos started his career as a professional painter approximately seven years ago. During this time his formation in painting has been autodidactic, and his work has been focused on graphite and oil technique. His personal taste has been for painting and highlighting the Mexican sport of charrería and the female and equine figure.

He has been in several single artists exhibitions including during festivities at Sahuayo, Michoacán; Lienzo Charro El Vergel in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Jalisco; Cultural Arts Center in Jiquilpan, Michoacán; and Lienzo Charro El Guayabal in Arandas, Jalisco and exhibited his work in other countries such as Ireland and Spain.

He has been interviewed for his art in online news channel Más Noticias, Telemundo International Network, Charrazo Magazine, and the Super Mesa television program.
