Watercolor - 18.5" x 23"
Notes:

Earl Kuhn's work uses scenes of contemporary ranch cowboys, their horses, livestock, and landscapes surrounding them as its subject matter. Two key components characteristic of his watercolors are the details he paints in the animals and his use of light.

Earl was the 2013 Signature Artist for the America's Horse in Art Show in Amarillo, Texas. His works are in major Western art shows throughout the United States and have been featured on the El Paso Southwestern Roundup Rodeo program, Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo poster, Working Ranch Cowboys Association's World Championship Ranch Rodeo program, and the World Paint Horse Show poster and program cover. Additionally, he was selected to do the painting for the Kansas Livestock Association's 100th Anniversary commemorative limited-edition print. Earl also does commissioned paintings throughout the year.

Earl's works have been featured in Western Horseman, Paint Horse Journal, America's Horse, and Inform Art and appeared on many magazine covers, including America's Horse, The Cowboy, Western Horseman, Paint Horse Journal, Kansas Horseman, and SuperLooper.

In 2010 Earl was inducted into the Kansas Cowboy Hall of Fame at the Boot Hill Museum in Dodge City, Kansas.
