Scarlets Golden Aero (Aero) was foaled at The Ohio State University Equine Facility in February 2019.  Aero is sired by our herd stallion, Roosters Gold Spark, an NRHA and ARHA money earner who placed in the top 10 in Ranch Reining at the 2020 ARHA World Show.  Aero's paternal grandsire, NHF Peppy Spark, is an ARHA World Champion, and his maternal grandsire, Little King Freckles, is an NCHA money earner.  Aero's pedigree also traces back to legendary AQHA Hall of Fame stallions on both the sire and dam side with Shining Spark and Peppy San Badger. 
 
Aero has been handled by our students consistently since birth.  He was started under saddle this semester in the Advanced Equine Behavior & Training class with student trainer Alice Pozzi.  Aero has no behavioral or physical problems of which I am aware.  He developed capped hocks in January 2020 and was re-evaluated by our veterinarian last month to note their presence as a blemish with no signs of lameness present.   A copy of his health records and training journals are included in his sale portfolio.
 
Aero has been ridden in the arena, around the farm, and hauled to Mohican State Park and Lobdell Reserve for trail riding.  He is an athletic, responsive gelding that maneuvers obstacles with ease.  With continued training, he could do well in a variety of ranch horse classes or out on the trail.  Due to his limited experience under saddle, he is suitable for an intermediate or experienced rider at this time.
