Hip 101: Handmade Retro Nixie Tube Clock

Donated by Brian and Kali Clark - The Escape Engineer.
Notes:

Retro clock is expertly handcrafted using handmade 1960s era Nixie tubes. It's a great conversation piece that looks good as a desk ornament and makes a unique gift for the holidays.

The vacuum tubes consist of a simple glass bulb with 10 electrical connections soldered to the board. The numbers are easy to read; they're illuminated by the neon glow of the heated coils. In the days before LED and LCD displays, Nixie tubes were the most successful and widely used devices invented for alphanumeric displays.

7 inches x 2.5 inches x 2.5 inches. Includes power supply cord for 120V wall outlet
3 control buttons on the back for adjusting time, transition type, and backlighting brightness.
Built in coin cell battery keeps correct time; in the event of power loss the clock does not need resetting when power is restored and will last for the life of the clock.

Shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer.
