The highest bidder will win the right to use AQHA registration no. 6,ooo,ooo to register a foal.

In 1941, AQHA registered its first horse--a stallion named Wimpy. A bronze of that first horse sits at the entrance to AQHA. In 1974, AQHA surpassed registration number 1,000,000 but did not assign the number to a horse. It was reserved to honor the men and women who helped build the association.

Now, eighty years after that first remarkable American Quarter Horse was registered, bidders have the opportunity to secure another historic and memorable registration number for the foal of their using the 6 millionth number!

The full current fee for registration and required DNA testing will be paid from the auction proceeds at the time the registration is enacted by the winning bidder.

Buyer is responsible for any additional fees required (if applicable) to complete the registration of the designated foal.
