Iron I Lucky is a triple registered mare (APHA, AQHA, and PtHA) who has the capability of being a very nice all around show horse along with the temperament to be that horse that everyone wants to saddle up for an afternoon trail ride. Lucky was shown at the color breed congress as a two year old where she placed in the top 5. She has had 6 months of professional training and has been maintained at home with no issues. She is sound, trailers well, stands for the farrier, no habits, clips easily (will toss her head when it comes to her ears but does allow it without twitching). She has been turned out with other horses and was not the ""boss"" mare. She also has had experience on a hot walker.
Lucky is naturally more suited for the hunt seat type classes but has a soft enough gait to be comfortable sitting the trot for classes such as Western Horsemanship, and Trail. She has been started over poles and also has been started over small jumps. Lucky really just needs riding time. She was purchased by my family as a summer project horse for my college aged daughter with the intent of reselling her.
I'd like her to find a nice home as I don't have the time nor energy to ride frequently. She is a sweet mare and would be suitable for a teen or adult with some horse experience. Please feel free to call me with any questions.
