This is River! He is adored wherever he goes! His unique color is so beautiful and eye-catching. River is super social and always ready to greet everyone. His short and stocky build make him easy to saddle and mount. He can easily carry an average size adult.

River is an easy keeper that has goes barefoot and has no special maintenance. I have owned and enjoyed River for almost 4 years. In that time I taught River to do trail obstacles, showmanship, rail riding, patterns, lunging on a line and free in a round pen, and riding the fields and fence lines. River has learned much and still has so much more potential. He has filled his purpose for me as a partner, a source of joy and giving me the fun and focus of teaching him things. Now he's ready to find a new partner.

River will do best with a confident rider and worked consistently to keep him focused. You can spend as little as 30 minutes 4 days a week and River will focus, perform and learn.

It has been my pleasure to own River. I sold my farm and now have to board him. This along with many other changes for me lately has lead me to the decision to find River his next home. River will make a great new partner for someone looking to bond with that 'special horse'.

Please forgive me for not including video of River loping under saddle--it is my shortcoming and not his. I have a back injury that has made loping on any horse difficult and painful.  I have included video of River loping on a lunge line to show off his beautiful movement.  He is actually very smooth under saddle at all gaits.
