Proceeds of breeding donated to Jeff Petska. In May of 2022, Jeff was diagnosed with cancer. Over the last few months, he has undergone several treatments to combat the illness. Recently, Jeff underwent surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona. His family is committed to whatever it takes to support and be there with Jeff as he goes through treatment.
Jeff Petska has served as chef d'equipe for the U.S. Reining Team since the inaugural year for reining at the FEI World Equestrian Games. He has been involved with US Equestrian since 2002, serving as chef d'equipe for the gold medal-winning teams at the FEI World Equestrian Games in 2002, 2006, 2010, and 2014. Petska owns Petska Performance Horses in Collinsville, Texas, with his wife Lisa, where he manages and trains at least 50 horses. Petska grew up in Nebraska and got involved in the horse business as a college student. He currently serves as an NRHA judge and an AQHA judge; he also is a past NRHA board member and chaired the organization's NRHA Professionals.

While he was a successful show horse, it was as a sire that he cemented his legacy as a legend.
He has sired 1,316 registered American Quarter Horse foals to date from 26 crops, that have earned 37,546 AQHA points and more than $10.2 million in performance earnings.
He is an NRHA Four Million Dollar Sire and a National Reined Cow Horse Association Four Million Dollar Sire.
Leading his many successful progeny by earnings are NRHA Open Futurity Champion Shining N Sassy ($259,262), AQHA Superhorse Shine By The Bay ($178,699) and world champion A Shiner Named Sioux ($161,891).
He is also a successful broodmare sire, with his daughters' foals earning more than $24.1 million.
