Notes:

Dont have enough space to talk about this young man. He will be registered in the AQHA and APHA. Miss Dual Sprat is an eye catcher with her conformation and color. She has $12,749 in NCHA earnings and her COA. We cut on her a little, used her in team sorting and as a turnback, she really likes to get at those cows! Her sire, Dual Jazz has NCHA earnings of $60,370 and has sired earners of $824,886. His sire, Dual Pep has NCHA earnings of $307,384 and his dam, Jazabell Quixote is a Cutter Bill granddaughter with NCHA earnings of $232,161 and is #4 All- time Leading Cutting Producer with offspring earning over $1,271,450. Sprats dam is a daughter of Docs Jack Sprat . AQHA Champion, NCHA Derby Semi-finalist, NCHA COA PE $3,000,000+. He carries the newly discovered Merada White gene so will often sire color.

By Cookin Merada - NRCHA LTE $128,623, third at the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, fourth at the Southwest RCHA Summer Classic, and won the NRCHA Circle Y Ranch Derby Championship. APHA - 49 reining and 59 working cowhorse points and 3 X World Champion Reined Cowhorse, 1X World Champion Reining, and 1X Reserve World Champion Reining, 30 AQHA performance points and a Register of Merit. At the 2018 APHA World Show his son, Peptos Smart Cookie, repeated his sire's win as Champion Jr Working Cowhorse and won the cow work at 2019 NRCHA Derby.

Carrier of the newly identified merada white gene… distinct features:  unique white spot-like markings, bald face, all-white phenotype.  Cookin Merada should have been a sorrel with minimal white - a star on his head, perhaps; a sock or two. His sire is a solid sorrel with a cutting pedigree, and his dam also bears the solid color of her cutting ancestors. Cookin Merada is, to put it mildly, colorful; bearing a bald face and white splashed up his legs all the way to his chest and belly. His offspring are even more uniquely colored, and his filly, Silken Merada's all-white coat led to the discovery of this exciting new gene.
