Notes:

He will come with AQHA and APHA papers. His full siblings have been high sellers in our last two sales. His half- brother, Peptos Smart Cookie, is APHA World Champion Jr Working Cowhorse among his many wins. Ms Solid Gold Karma is a half- sister to ranch stallion Cutter San Cody. Karma competed as a 4-year-old in the Ranching Heritage Challenge at the Colorado State Fair. She placed in the top 10 in the working ranch horse class. Her dam, Silk Delight, was reserve amateur mare in both the SDQHA and the CONQHA. She placed in the top half of the horses competing in the Dakota Classic Cutting Futurity. Her full brother, Rocky Bill Cody, was an AQHA and AQHYA Champion. He carried Heather to the High Point Youth Senior Girl, All-Around Youth title. He was year-end High Point youth horse in youth geldings, western pleasure, hunter under saddle, showmanship, horsemanship, and equitation. His open points were in halter, western pleasure, heading, heeling, and was Reserve All-Around Horse in the SDQHA. Silky also had two other brothers who brought home year-end awards.

By Cookin Merada - NRCHA LTE $128,623, third at the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, fourth at the Southwest RCHA Summer Classic, and won the NRCHA Circle Y Ranch Derby Championship. APHA - 49 reining and 59 working cowhorse points and 3 X World Champion Reined Cowhorse, 1X World Champion Reining, and 1X Reserve World Champion Reining, 30 AQHA performance points and a Register of Merit. At the 2018 APHA World Show his son, Peptos Smart Cookie, repeated his sire's win as Champion Jr Working Cowhorse and won the cow work at 2019 NRCHA Derby.

Carrier of the newly identified merada white gene… distinct features:  unique white spot-like markings, bald face, all-white phenotype.  Cookin Merada should have been a sorrel with minimal white - a star on his head, perhaps; a sock or two. His sire is a solid sorrel with a cutting pedigree, and his dam also bears the solid color of her cutting ancestors. Cookin Merada is, to put it mildly, colorful; bearing a bald face and white splashed up his legs all the way to his chest and belly. His offspring are even more uniquely colored, and his filly, Silken Merada's all-white coat led to the discovery of this exciting new gene.
