Toffee Bar Bonanza, affectionately known as Toffee, is a 2-year-old palomino Quarter Horse filly that was born and raised at the Ohio State University Equine Facility.

Her sire, GR Crome Berry Whiz, is an NRHA money-earner (LTE +$28,000) and a Novice Horse, Non-Pro Reserve World Champion. Toffee's paternal grandsire, Topsail Whiz, is an NRHA Hall of Fame Stallion and $12 Million Dollar Sire.

You may notice that Toffee has a docked tail. As a foal, she sustained a laceration to the underside of her tail which required surgical amputation of the distal part of her boney tail. Her tail healed nicely, and we observed no complications.

Toffee was lightly started under saddle this semester by student trainer, Abby Juhola, in the Advanced Equine Behavior and Training class and has been ridden in a variety of settings - outdoor sand arena, grass obstacle course, and on the bridle trails at Prairie Oaks Metro Park.
