Golden Channel, aka Maci, is a 4 year old 14.1 hand pony mare. Has been undersaddle for 15 days and is already showing tremendous potential!

She is a barn favorite. A quick learner and very sweet natured. Has a lovely trot which will make her shine in the hunter ring. Knows her leads and has fantastic clean changes. Has been started over cross rails and boxes. She has a wonderful brain. Extremely sweet and loves to be loved. Maci absolutely trives on attention.

A great investment opportunity for a teenager or trainer who wants to put some miles on her and bring her to Pony Finals next year! Lovely form over fences with a trot to die for. Cross ties, ties, bathes, loads, stands to be mounted and is all around a good citizen. Good in the stall or in pasture. This little girl is an absolute gem! Wonderful ground manners.

It's amazing with such little time under saddle how much she has already learned.

Here is another lovely large pony hunter prospect that I wish I didnt have to sell.

Update: May be registerable as Half-Welsh but buyer will have to wait until Margaret gets out of the hospital and can get paperwork together.

Chanson d'Amour is an amazing imported pony hunter prospect who is coming 5 years of age.

By the famous dressage stallion Champion De Luxe, Chanson is a 2012 Imported Large Pony Hunter mare that will be top of the line and will be stand out and be competitive in any company. Chanson has an amazing trot that will turn heads and a lovely canter. Her stride will easily make it down the lines. Auto changes complete this package. Will be at the top of the model with her unique look. Hand picked from dozens upon dozens of ponies in Europe, she was recently imported and has been being worked under saddle and conditioned in our tried and true program.

Champion de Luxe, a 14.1 1/2 hand German Riding Pony was the impressive winner of the 2000 riding pony koering in Aachen, the NRW meetings of 2001 and 2002, and of the Rheinisches championship. He has competed and won level A and L dressage classes, and was pony Bundeschampion of 2001 and 2002. He won his stallion performance test in Neustadt-Dosse with four perfect scores of ten! At the Berlin Bundessiegerhengst in 2003, he won the both dressage and versatility classes, prompting Hans Heinrich Stien to write in the press that Champion de Luxe is an "exceptional, superior animal." His foals have already received gold medals at the foal shows, and his bright buckskin coloring puts a bow on an already impressive package.

Breeches is a stunning colt that is green broke currently.

He is easy enough that a 9 year old is currently riding him with a trainers help.

Breeches has a flat kneed trot, straight leg-up hill canter and easy in the field changes. He rides in a plain snaffle and he will model.

We have trotted him and lunged him over fences and he happily jumps them in excellent form. This is a true division prospect with all the pieces to excel at pony finals.

He will finish growing at 12. 1 7/8. Handled daily by children and housed with mares.

Gossip is a 15.3 HH Hanoverian/TB mare who is ready for someone to bring her to her full potential. RPSI Branded.

She has an amazing pedigree that sets her up to be a success. She would make a great hunter prospect or a lower level jumper. She was started just last year and showed the 2`6 at her second show and was reserve champion. She schooled 3` a couple of times and did it with ease.

Great prospect for someone who wants a quality horse but is on a budget. Likes to have one rider. Been with a junior and ridden by professional weekly. Great lead change.

Notes:

Calcifer the Fire Demon is a 2004 OTTB oozing with talent. He has schooled 3'0/3'3 courses and 1st level dressage, all with a level head. Cal has a flying lead change when he is in work and asked correctly, and with time could easily become automatic. No bite, rear, buck or kick. When jumping he is brave and honest to a fence and will take the long or short spot if asked. Cal has a history in eventing, trail riding, and has taught lessons to beginners as well. Goes in a hackamore or French link, barefoot, and has been trained for tackless riding. Cal also knows a few tricks, including "touch" "come" and "stay".

When consistently in work, Cal is a babysitter and will tote around first timers in and out of the ring. He is never hot in hand and does not grope or drag you when leading. Stands quietly on the cross ties and for vet and farrier. Aced when clipped, but with positive reinforcement training, I clipped him this winter without. Slow to trailer, but 10 minutes of patience gets him on easily (Can elaborate). He has been out of work for a while and snaps back with the basics but will need a refresher for something of higher level.

Cal also has a hygroma (synovial fluid in the joint) on his front knee that does not affect him. I have it checked yearly by a vet and it has not changed or affected him in the 3 years I've had him, nor had it at his previous owners whom I knew very well. Can provide references.

I started him back in work last month. I have videos of his first ride back to give an idea of how great he is to get to work. Lives in or out, by himself or with mares or geldings. He does not get stir crazy if inside due to inclimate weather. His first ride he was in a stall for a month because of messy fields. Hopped right back in the game, no need for lunging at all. He's not a push or pull ride, he has his own motor and it can be adjusted as needed. He can ride on the buckle or take you around a jumper's course.

Lovely branded Holsteiner, will make nice eq, hunter or jumper.

Very quiet, no spook or bad habbits. She is very easy to work around. Great to clip, bath, trailer and excellent for blacksmith.

Notes:

Farnley Headline, Squirt, is a 2007 bay Welsh pony, registered with the Virginia Pony Breeders Association.

Squirt is an incredibly fancy small pony hunter prospect, with movement and a jump to die for. He is for sale ONLY because we do not have a rider small enough to finish him. Squirt has been successfully shown locally 18in-2ft, always winning the hack and earning whispers of disbelief about his awesome jumping form and stand-out conformation.

Squirt is a quick learner in a consistent program, and is a push ride with a snaffle mouth. He has been fox hunted by kids, done pony camps all summer, and is used in lessons for walk/trot beginners. He does have a little trouble picking up the left lead, but nothing a little balance work and muscle development cant easily fix. We simply don`t have the time or a little person to do it!

Squirt is easy to load, clip, bathe and does well in any turnout situation. VERY, very sound--never an off step. He is currently barefoot and up to date on all vaccines, teeth floating and deworming.

DONT MISS OUT ON AN OPPORTUNITY TO OWN THIS AA FUTURE CHAMPION!!!

Notes:

Deshmina was imported from Canada as a 3yo. She was put in training in Oct 2014 with a professional trainer. The summer of 2015 she was shown lightly at recognized dressage shows, recieveing scores of low 70s and high 60 at training and first level.

In March of 2016, she was sent to Dom Schramm for jumping and x-country training. Desh loves to jump and has plenty of talent. She is brave to the jumps, without being over zealous.

I only do dressage, so she heeds a new home. Her rider and handling scores reflect her age.

LOT 29: Ash

2012 Chestnut Gelding (Ashtar Dark Ali x Colorado Sun (Appaloosa)) Consigned by Frolicking Fox Farm, LLC

Won his first Horse Trial.

  • CURRENT BID: $7,000.00
  • SOLD
  • LOT IS CLOSED

Record: Won his first Horse Trial.

  • Type/Breed: Arabian - Half
  • Size: 15.2-1/2
  • Papers: Yes

Notes:

Ash was purchased directly from his breeder as a thre-year-old, as we were very impressed by his parents, his movement, and his character. He was then slowly and lovingly started with ground work, progressing to under saddle.

Ash is a registered half-Arabian Sporthorse who stand 15.2 1/2hh and continues to grow. He is an extremely talented jumper with excellent form and style, who is confidently jumping 3' and ready to move up to Novice eventing.

Ash won his very first horse trial at only 7 weeks under saddle on his dressage score of 27.3 (double clear!), and has several other blue ribbons under his belt.

His movement is uphill, balanced, and cadenced. Ash is well-conformed, with a beautiful copper roan color and a typey face. He would make an excellent AA/JR/YR mount, with the ability to go to the top in eventing, jumping, or dressage. Ash is schooling 1st level dressage, and is very honest and brave to the jump, but also enjoys a good trail ride.

He is a rare find: fancy, talented, and very lovable & affectionate. Additional information available at FrolickingFoxFarm.com Grooming, tacking, and mounting video coming soon.

"Adan" is a perfect gentleman and very kid friendly. He was purchased as a 2 yo and broken and started by the "Finch" sisters. Kerrigan the younger sister went on to ride him and do some local showing and some 4-H stuff with him.

He is very quiet and honest. He is a good mover with a great jump. He has a lead change but based on his laziness, he takes a strong leg or a spur to get them.

He is currently schooling 2' courses but has the jump and scope to be a very competitive medium at 2'6".

He is being sold because Kerrigan has another one by the same sire that she is currently showing and we feel like he needs to have his own kid.

Will go on trails and loves riding out in the field. Tory has great lead changes and a wonderful canter to find the jumps off of. Walks the lines and is eager to please.

She is a joy to have in the barn and has great ground manners (loads, clips, ties, etc...), but that doesn't stop her from begging for some cookies! Tory's personality has blossomed since I bought her and she is ready for a kid of her own!

Tory is 100% sound and I have previous x-rays.

Notes:

Picturesque Secret Stash is a lovely mover with a balanced, comfortable canter, auto change, huge step and fantastic jump.

"Secret" has a solid education and foundation and now just needs a kid to really start her show career. She has been to a few local schooling shows and has been good with all of the chaos of the schooling ring and jumped around the show ring fences.

This is a talented, division pony with a jump that makes heads turn! As she is still green she would be best with a rider that wants athleticism, talent, model and hack prize but doesn't have the funds for a made pony. Secret is ideal to start in the greens next year.

Great feet, easy keeper, sweet personality and tons of scope. She has been in a professional program since she has been started under tack last year.

  • Reg #: 840025020150401

Notes:

Here is Kashmeres Kiss or whom we call Plum. She is a Registered KWPN Dutch Warmblood Filly who is a rare Grulla color which truly makes Plum unique. She has the light vertical stripe down the back of each leg and a dorsal stripe that is consistent with the Grulla coloring.

Plum is out of a QH mare and by a KWPN registered Ster rated black stallion named First Class. Plum currently stands at 14.2H and will mature around 16 hands. She is up to date on her shots, worming, farrier, and has had her teeth checked for any abnormalities with non found. Plum stands well in the cross ties to be brushed/vacuumed/hooves picked/blanketed/fly sprayed/and to be bathed. She has been started on the lunge line and is used to being pastured with other horses at night and in a stall during the day with no bad habits. Plum is very athletic and is a beautifully moving horse who will go very far in the show ring or has the personality to be an amazing life long loving pet. Very correct conformation with an exceptionally nice top line and neck.

We have bred and raised Plum from day one and she is very loving and will walk right up to you in the pasture for attention. She is mature way above her age and no special skills are required to handle this sweet natured filly. Feel free to check out her lunging video. Feel free to contact me if you would like videos/pictures of anything else. Do not miss this fully if you want to bring one up in the show world or simply for a nice home project.

Notes:

Wicoca is a proven jumper with wins at WEF, Brownland, Gulf Port and more. He has too many circuit championships to list.

Wicoca can still do the Grand Prixs with a professional but loves carting around the new to the jumper ring from the 1.0 to the 1.30. He has qualified two children for equitation finals and well as ribboning in hunter derbies. Regularly schooling the high junior height at home and shows.

Wicoca is ridden in a snaffle for the equation and hunters along with ball spurs. He gets a morning lunge for 10 minutes in the pessoa rig. For the jumper ring he rides in a snaffle gag and ball spurs. Wicoca has cliniced with George Morris and was selected as his favorite horse of the group!

He safely hacks around and jumps the 2'6 with a 9 year old child currently. He has been consistently leased the last two years with no breaks in his show record. No soundness issues, vices, etc.

Current clean vetting on file. Contact the seller for the Current Vet Report.

Just won all his classes at Brownland and the championship with a child who had never gone to an AA show.

Professionally started, she has had a few children ride her and she is very tolerant, however, she herself does not have very many buttons to push just yet. She is quite green.

Notes:

This lovely pony has been there and done that.

He had a very successful career in Canada, culminating in 2013 Royal Reserve Champion in the Medium Ponies. Since coming to the states in 2015, he has continued to succeed, winning Young Entry Champion at Tryon International, Reserve Champion at HITS Winston National in the Short Stirrup, and Reserve Champion at the Sedgefield September A Show, also in Short Stirrup.

Up to Neverland, or Nibs, can take any short stirrup rider or childrens pony rider happily around the ring, with auto lead changes, a big stride, and a picture-perfect jump. Nibs has a lifetime USEf membership.
