LOT B: USE THE MAXIMUM BID FEATURE.

Maximum Bid is the surest way to win the horses or ponies you are interested in at the lowest possible price.

PLUS - What happens with you run into a Maximum Bid.

  • CURRENT BID: $
  • Sells with NO RESERVE
  • LOT IS CLOSED

  • Type/Breed: Warmblood (no papers)
  • Papers: No

Notes:

USE THE MAXIMUM BID FEATURE.

Maximum Bid is the surest way to win the horses or ponies you are interested in at the lowest possible price.

Just enter your maximum price when bidding.

The Max Bid feature is particularly useful when you are bidding on multiple horses or ponies.

Max Bid places a bid for you at the next increment above any bid up to your maximum.

What happens when you come up against a Max Bid?

The Max Bid automatically, and immediately, bids the next increment higher than your bid. When you place a bid that is surpassed by an existing max bid you will see this message “Bid accepted. However, another bidder has placed a higher bid.”

If your bid matches the top bid of a Max Bid, you will see this message, “Another bidders has bid this amount”.  The Max Bid was in prior to your bid so it is placed first.  Another bid will put you on top.

In either case, you can place another bid immediately

Here are the basics.

Buyer has the right to have a veterinarian perform a limited post-purchase examination, at Buyer’s expense, to determine if any of the issues in Condition 7 were not disclosed.  The examination must be done within five (5) business days from the end of the auction and before the horse leaves the Seller’s facility. This examination will be limited to moving the horse for soundness on riding horses or show horses of any type, and checking the reproductive tract on breeding horses. 2008 Red Roan Mare -12 hh - Consigned by Karen Eppley - Pennsylvania

A champ on the trail. Very balanced with easy transitions and good brakes.

  • CURRENT BID: $500.00
  • SOLD
  • LOT IS CLOSED

Record: A champ on the trail. Very balanced with easy transitions and good brakes.

  • Type/Breed: Welsh Cross
  • Size: 12 hh
  • Papers: No

Notes:

9 yr. old welsh (no papers) mare. 12 h and *huge* bodied.

Very balanced. No changes, but could be a very quick project. Easy, easy transitions. Good brakes. No need to thump to get her going, but does not shoot into the canter either. Has her own motor.

Air fern, barefoot, not mareish, clips, loads, hauls. Goes out with anyone. A champ on the trail. Very suitable for a lesson program. Likes a program. Prefers the slightly better/taller kids. Doesn't love the up/downers or the kids just learning to canter. Prefers the more advanced beginner type with some upper body control.

Notes:

Here is a pony that will get your child to Pony Finals with the right guidance.

She has been brought along slowly and in a program for 5 yrs and is looking for a new child.

This is a VERY nice pony!  Please don't let the 'chestnut mare' stigma steer you away. I would keep her myself if I had the funds and consistent rider to campaign her in the Green Pony Division then on to the Mediums.

I have a small farm in Upstate NY with no indoor, so she has basically been ridden 3 seasons, each year, with the Winters off. My kids are young adults now, and live away from home, so I end up scouting new pony riders, to keep her going, for her every year it seems.  She does need a little prep at the horse shows, but nothing unreasonable.

Sedona gets turned out with 2 other pony mares at home for about 3-4hrs a day weather permitting. She could go longer if I didn't have to rotate. When at a show she gets hand walked around the grounds and in the show ring, if possible to get familiar with the new surroundings. She is then lunged, and schooled.

Sedona is not spooky, has a sweet temperament, stands quietly at the mounting block, walks right on the trailer (step-up or ramp, doesn't matter). She is more of a 'going' pony than a kick ride, but she has a consistent, steady pace. She is dead honest to the jumps. She's been ridden in several different types of bits from plain D ring snaffle, full cheek snaffle & slow twist D ring Dr. Bristol and she's fine in all of them.

She's always been sound and goes barefoot, she has a nice healthy hoof. This pony would easily sell in the 5 figure range with some more show miles.

His conformation is Outstanding and will be a show champion for sure! We have started traveling to shows with him locally and he has earned great remarks from the judges and spectators, too! The judge for one of his yearling classes remarked that he is a very fancy mover. We entered him in the Spring series at PBIEC and he was the best behaved baby there! We placed 2nd out of 2 due to him being in a halter rather than bridle. His full sibling (Evans Darian) has a championship show history.beau 12.2hh.

Blue Balou himself will be a competitor to reckon with in the future. Currently 16hh and lanky, he still has some growing and filling out to do but all his siblings out of the same dam were late bloomers and grew up to 16.3hh in their third year. So it is safe to say that he will finish at least 16.1hh if not more.

As a foal Blue Balou received the Premium Award at his foal inspection with 8.0 in all categories. He has a faultless conformation and good solid legs with sturdy hooves.

He is a very sweet horse that will do his best to fulfil your expectations, doesn't matter if in the Jumper, Hunter or even the Dressage ring. Unlimited stamina paired with his powerful thrust from behind will serve him well in jumper competitions while his calmness and big beautiful gaits will make him a winner in Hunter classes. He has started light training and goes already very well on the lunge line after only a few sessions and accepts bridle, bit and surcingle without fuss. Because he is still growing we have not free jumped him yet. Sound and sane; very clean x-rays and pre-purchase exam.

With his talent he needs to go to a show home.

NEW: Just started him over some fences free jumping and he loved it. Needs hardly any encouragement and became confident very quickly. Even though he is clearly still inexperienced he took the fences calmly, adjusted his stride beautifully and has lots of room to spare with a nice form over the jump. A serious future competitor!

LOT 9: Oliver Twist

2016 Bay Colt (Ovation II x Danger) Consigned by Petra Buttner Black Lightning Horses Inc.- Ontario

**NEW VIDEOS** Bred for upper level Dressage. Both parents are imported Dressage horses and trained to FEI level.

  • CURRENT BID: $1,100.00
  • Offered with reserve
  • LOT IS CLOSED

Record: Bred for upper level Dressage. Both parents are imported Dressage horses and trained to FEI level.

  • Type/Breed: Oldenburg
  • Papers: Yes
  • Registry: Oldenburg NA
  • Reg #: 124025 33-11157

Notes:

Very handsome colt which will finish over 16hh (dam is 16.3hh, sire 17hh).

Bred for upper level Dressage. Both parents are imported Dressage horses and trained to FEI level.

Sire: Ovation hails from a long line of German and Russian Dressage horses and showed successfully himself.

Dam: Danger had an extensive show career with many Championship titles in Canada and the States. She always stood out because of her light and elegant movements and her remarkable expression. Combined with the right amount of 'go' she especially excelled in her extensions, her piaffe and canter pirouette.

Her son Oliver Twist is a mirror image of his dam with the same light footed gaits and his 'look-at-me' attitude. A serious contender for the Dressage ring. Sadly for sale due to retirement.

UPDATE

Oliver Twist would also be suitable as a hunter or eventer since the dam has a powerful freejump (see photo) and a daughter of the sire was in the final ring of the Lt. Governor's class for 3-year-olds at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, a very prestigious competition.

Video #2 is of his dam at her first Third Level competition. Video #3 is his sire.

A safe and fun driving horse too! Super easy to harness, hook, and drive. He has been driven on the trails and the roads.

He would make a great lesson horse or first horse for someone wanting a nice horse to ride and show.

He was never raced and never on the track. I have a registration application for him but he was never papered. He is ridden weekly by kids.

Notes:

Excellent lesson horse for flat lessons for dressage, or hunter/jumper barns – especially for the adult or taller intermediate rider-he is a lot of fun! I am the owner of this horse and also a trainer who personally has used this for several times for riders of all levels. He goes out every single day and makes me money. He's tolerant of different riders and has been a great employee!

I have jogged in hand with him for riders that want to learn how to trot and post, all the way to intermediate riders who are ready to learn to canter and more advanced riders who want to learn how to perform flying lead changes and dressage movements up to and including third level.

Although he would probably love to be bought and used by a single family or individual, he also would go out and be that lesson horse who works hard for his trainer, he's ready to go!

Has shown successfully in Academy and Walk/trot/crosspole divisions. Been trail ridden, barebacked, and used in camps. She can be bossy on the ground, but is great once she's in the cross ties. We'd love to keep her but she isn't working much in our lesson program needs at the moment, and she really needs a job. Lives outside, and is barefoot. Stays fat on air. Easy Keeper!

'No Time To Play' is a big bodied bold thoroughbred who loves to jump and would be great for eventing, dressage or hunter/ jumpers.

He has not had much show experience, done some schooling shows and was fantastic!

Good; loading, bathing, clipping, lounging, beach and trail. Mostly a push ride but does have the thoroughbred spirit when needed.

Has jumped three foot and schooled dressage through second level. Is a pocket pony and would love someone who would like to dote on him. He is quite big so would be good for a tall person, I am 5'4 but he has been ridden by guys that were 6'4/6'8 and looked nice. He will give his heart to his rider and try his best.

Notes:

ROY is a stunning gelding with great conformation. He has a well developed neck and shoulder and has a natural head set and connection. He sets his head naturally allowing the rider to have a lighter hand.

He is green and requires finishing. He has a comfortable w/t but needs miles with his canter and right lead. He can be dull to the leg and needs an experienced rider to guide him in his learning as he worries. With a good, consistent program he should develop into a nice dressage prospect and possible jumping but has little to no miles over jumps currently. He needs to settle into his new home for a few days and then he needs to get to work.

She stands at 13.1 hands and is extremely sweet natured. She loves having a job and having daily interaction or riding. She w/t/c, jumps small cross rails, and enjoys trail riding. She is green so would be suitable for an intermediate child or is sturdy enough for a small adult. She has no vices, clips, bathes and stand nicely for the farrier. She has not been in consistent work for about 4 months (For no other reason than that she was getting bred)

The video of her under saddle was taken on 5/19/17. She had absolutely no prep, no lunging, and had not been ridden in over a month.

She has very clean legs and would make a remarkable hunter prospect.|She is currently in-foal to Blue Who (by the famous Blue Rain) and due March 2018. This will produce a very fancy small pony hunter prospect. Blue Who is a half-welsh stallion that stands at 11.2 ½ hands tall. He is consistently in the top 10 USEF Pony Hunter Sires and has had many offspring show at pony finals. Blue Who has amazing movement and temperament. Even as a stallion he sweetly interacts with children. He seems to pass this temperament on to all of his foals.

Stands to be fussed over, clipped, bathed and groomed.  She's sound with no vices and no injuries.  She's been shown, and has done some paper chases.  Jumps 3 foot with ease.

Notes:

Kalani (Well Up) is a 2011 TB mare standing 15.2 hands, retired sound from the track in early 2016 with very few starts.  She is perfect for someone coming off of a pony and looking for a bigger mount.

She has since been restarted by a junior rider under a trainer.  She has been to a TB show, a schooling hunter show and has schooled cross country numerous times with a 12 year rider.  She is a brave jumper and loves hacking cross country.  She will jump anything you point her at!!! She will also WTC and jump a course of fences in the ring as well.

This winter she has been showing IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) cross rails up to 2'6.  She is a point and jump type of horse, never looks or stops.  She will do a lead change if set up and asked.  Currently being used for intermediate and above lessons.

Currently living outside and is an easy keeper.  She is easy to handle and work with.  Sound with no vices, and super clean legs!!!  Would make a great horse for an event rider not looking for something huge!  Also, would make a great pony club mount!

Paybon scored an 8.0 on conformation at his RPSI foal inspection, even though he was having a growth spurt and was high behind, going high silver overall at 7.70.

Paybon has spent the last two years as out herd sire and was gelded earlier this year as we feel he would make someone an excellent riding partner.  He has been shown on the line, winning best young horse at Hunter breeding show as a 3 year old.

Paybon is a very cute mover with great conformation and a cute jump.

She has been shown on the line and did very well in both hunter breeding and welsh shows.  She is a very pretty mover with petite build and good conformation.  She is expected to mature to a big medium as her sire is a medium and her dam is a large.

There are several of her siblings out showing and winning on the hunter circuit.  A few even placed at pony finals this past year!  This is a great investment pony, buy now and show on the line then start her next fall. I am sure she will follow in her siblings footsteps and be a top hunter pony in years to come!

She is currently handled daily and used to a busy lesson barn where she is handled by children.

Notes:

Gambler- 16h Dark Bay with a heart of gold!

This boy wants to be loved and cared for. He has an excellent safe temperament. He has had a great start under saddle with being in a lesson program for 1-1/2 years, after off the track, with adv. beg to intermediate riders. He has a consistent stride and aims to please. He is currently jumping 2ft and is advancing to 2'3 - he is for sale as he is too nice for lessons and needs someone to finish his jumping training versus learning mistakes from lesson rider, he needs miles off the property at shows, he has been to two shows last summer and would have a quick spook but he did work through it quickly just needed to look at everything.

He has simple changes and will try his best to do the flying changes if asked by rider (see video).

He has never let us down in the lessons and will be a super star once his jumping is polished. Prefer personal home this boy!

UPDATE

He was at the Tower Hill open show and placed in all of the short and long stirrup classes and took took 4 th in short stirrup classic out of 12 riders 3rd in the long stirrup classic out of 8 riders

Good weekend for him! He's a gem!

With terrific movement and a flashy steel gray, Diva is a really nice dressage prospect. She also has the engine and heart for eventing.

Dacaprio's bloodlines offer the best preconditions for excellent basic paces with an elastic moving mechanism and brilliant type values, coupled with the necessary strength of the Thoroughbred. Her sire's lineage is world renowned - son of Davignon and grandson of the legendary Donnerhall. Diva's siblings have successful careers in hunter, dressage and eventing.

His mother, Carry, by Caprimond, impresses with her steady breeding successes: two certified stallions (both were sold at a price exceeding DM 100,000) and several expensive foals at German auctions. As a three- and four-year old, Dacaprio won several victory finals, e.g. the German Championship in Verden. At the age of 5 years he was a multiple winner in dressage horse competitions class A and L, second in the qualification for the Federal Championship and an entrant in the Federal Championship. Dacaprio's many successful foals are all are typified by his influence.

Diva is UTD on farrier/shots/worming.

Diva is easy to catch, walks on trailers without a hitch and is generally easy to handle. She loves attention and prefers having a job. She is handled daily and is ready to be backed. Diva is being sold so that her proceeds can benefit an equine farm retreat for women veterans slated to open the summer of 2017. Any amount over her market value will be receipted as a donation to the 501c3 charitable organization.

Diva has been in natural horsemanship professional training for the past 4 months, responding to voice and hand commands. Eager to learn and a ham, she would do best in a performance career.
