Important Information on the REPRESENTATION OF YOUR ENTRY

  • Height  - Please measure your horse before listing the height. If you are advertising your horse at 17 hands or your pony at 14.2 it needs to be correct. This is one of the most common reasons buyers have for returning a horse or pony. If you have listed the height as 17 hands and the horse is 16.2, it is considered misrepresentation, and is grounds for rejecting the horse.
  • UP TO SIX (6) PICTURES CAN BE SHOWN - A recent picture of the horse is REQUIRED. A buyer wants to know what the horse that gets off the trailer at their house will look like. We can market your horse using a professional picture that is not recent, but at least one picture taken within 30 days is recommended.
  • Think carefully when considering the disposition and handling ratings for your horse. A rating of “1” is considered the BEST; and a rating of “10” is the WORST. If a horse has never been stalled, clipped, trailered or turned out with other horses, do not provide ratings for those items. If you choose to rate a horse at “1” for any item, you are stating that the horse can be handled in that situation by a complete beginner, with no fear of danger to the handler or to the horse.
  • Defects and Blemishes include any physical or medical condition of the horse, from scars to warts to a spot in an eye, and everything in between. Answer this question thoughtfully - if you have owned the horse for any length of time there may be issues that you consider normal, but in reality should be disclosed.
  • VIDEOS are extremely important for a riding horse. It is very unlikely to get an acceptable price for a riding horse that if offered without a video, or with video clips that are only a few seconds long and do not show the horse traveling at all 3 gaits in both directions. If the horse is a hunter/jumper/dressage horse, and has show experience, videos in a show situation are best.

ONCE YOUR ENTRY IS SOLD

BUYER PAYMENT AND RELEASE OF HORSE

  • After the auction has closed, invoices are emailed to all buyers. Payment is required within 3 business days and is paid directly to the auction company. We take all major credit cards or funds may be wired.
  • Buyer Confirmation emails are sent to the buyer and the seller when the auction company has received sale proceeds.
  • Once you have received the buyer confirmation the horse can be released to the new owner.
  • Some buyers will require a health certificate in order to transport their horse, which is their financial responsibility. Any assistance you provide is appreciated.

REQUIRED PAPERWORK AND PAYMENT TO SELLER:

  • If you have not already done so, please send registration papers, signed transfers and a copy of the coggins to the auction company.
  • A breeders certificate and a pregnancy exam dated within 30 days of auction closing date are required for pregnant mares.
  • All sale proceeds are held until the paperwork is in order.
  • Registration papers, transfers and/or passports are mailed to new owners not sooner than 21 business days after the auction closes unless otherwise requested.
  • Conditions of Sale state that proceeds will be mailed to sellers no later than 15 business days after the close of the auction. We normally mail checks 10 banking days after the close of auction by first class mail.

IF YOUR ENTRY DOES NOT SELL

  • All customers are offered a second chance to sell in an Internet Auction at the discounted rate of $99 if their horse does not sell. It is possible that more or different pictures, or the addition of a video will improve your chance of finalizing a sale. Please contact Tim or Cathy to discuss what changes can be made to increase your chance of selling your horse.

Please contact us if you have any other questions about the internet auction procedure.

Her father is a stunning Arabian that competed successfully in Endurance riding. Both parents have papers and she can be triple registered if her new owner would like to.

Xena is an extremely easy keeper, can go barefoot, and can be stall or field boarded. She gets along well with others, has no health issues, and has always been completely sound. She has been in lessons and will be able to do Jumpers, hunters, and evening.

She is breeding sound and will make a phenomenal broodmare.

Her filly by her side is a good size, moves well and is as conformational correct as one can be. There are no vices. She gets in-foal easily and has not had difficulty foaling.

Typically top dog in the field, she is a kind boss and foals gravitate to her!

Notes:

This mare has shown successfully in young and 3' green hunters.  Her owner prefers the jumpers, so her show schedule has been light.  She also loves to trail ride. She is worked 2 to 3 times per week, and has been jump schooled over 3'6" courses.

Smooth, smooth gaits, and an easy slow rhythm make her a very fun ride.  Very honest to the jumps, loves her job. Trailers well, stands well for farrier and vet, clips well. Looking for someone who wants to bring a lovely hunter up through the ranks.  Very suitable derby prospect.

Stunning 2011 Hanoverian gelding, lovely mover and jumper. Incredibly quiet and brave. Two years show experience at both A level and local but eligible everything. Hacks out and very comfortable to ride . Appropriate for junior, amateur or professional.

Extensive training by Olin Armstrong.

Last year, 2016 the owner showed him in Adult Pleasure Hunter. He was Champion at 4 shows one of them was Lexington A show. With the owner showing him in the hack classes, he earned 8 reserve champions at SWVHJA in same division.

2017 he has been champion 3 times and reserve champion 2 times at local shows (with Olin Armstrong) with very competitive horses.  Always gets a good ribbon in huge hack classes. Did not want to show him at A shows to keep him eligible for green for his next owner.

  • Other Breed: ATAA, USDF, USEF

Notes:

Bavaria RDF is by Bugatti Hilltop out of our GOV approved jumper mare Hobella. Born 3/28/17 She has a pending registration with Oldenburg GOV (inspection sept 18th) and is registered Akhal-Teke Sport horse. She was already 13hands at 4 months and She should easily hit 16.2 hands when mature. Bavaria is a flashy smokey black filly with a brave and level headed mind. She has a good working walk, lovely floating trot with suspension and consistent canter that will make her a lovely Hunter or Jumper. She is USDF and USEF lifetime registered with current Coggins. She attended her first USDF show in August and placed reserve champion for current year foals. She was level headed the entire time and traveling on her own didn't phase her. She is weaned and ready to go to a show home.

Her pedigree includes the following.

Her sire Bugatti Hilltop is by Bergamon out of a Rubinstein I/ Donnerhall mother. He is an impressive, modern stallion that has established his credentials at a very early age. He won the dressage section of his Stallion Performance Testing with 140.62 points, achieving 9's and 10's on character, rideability, temperament, and all three of his gaits. The National State Stud of Sweden "Flyinge" leased Bugatti Hilltop for his first breeding seasons and Hilltop Farm offers his services to North American breeders through frozen semen.

Bugatti's sire Bergamon (photo above) is an excellent son of Baryshnikov (by Bolero). His first foalcrop of only fourteen youngsters matured to produce two elite Hannoverian stallions (Bugatti Hilltop and Baroncelli) and one States Premium Mare. Paola, Bergamon's dam, has produced outstanding offspring her entire career. Paola produced Primavera (by Donnerhall), the leading States Premium Oldenburg mare of our time. Primavera was the Champion Mare of the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in 1992 and was also the Dressage Champion at the Bundeschampionat that year. Paola (Pik Koenig-Frustra-Domspatz) is a full-sister to Pik Bube I and II who have sired scores of successful stallions, mares, and dressage horses. Baryshnikov, Bergamon's sire, was the winner of his 100-Day test, many times the winner of S-level Dressage tests, and is trained to the Grand Prix in dressage.

Rubinstein I, the sire of Bugatti's dam SPS Raffinesse, was third out of 66 stallions at his testing in 1989, with a score of 136.56 overall, and 134.91 in rideability. His dressage breed index is 155. His breeding values based upon his daughter's performance at their studbook and mare performace inspections are 169 for typeyness, 173 for limbs, and 184 for dressage. Rubinstein progeny are especially prized for their trainability.

Rubinstein's sire Rosenkavalier won his stallion testing, and is a top Westphalian stallion. Rubinstein's dam Antine is a full sister to the late Reiner Klimke's Olympic mount Ahlerich II, and Amon, another top international dressage horse. Antine produced two other approved stallion son, the full siblings to Rubinstein, Rubinstein II and III.

Donnerhall, SPS Rafinesse's damsire, is one of the all time great dressage stallions. For nearly two decades, Donnerhall charmed as a dressage superstar. Under Karin Rehbein, Donnerhall won many World Cup, World Championship, and German Championship titles. Donnerhall has produced dressage horses that win in competitions around the globe. Davignon, Donnerschlag, Dream of Glory, Don Primero, De Niro, and Don Schufro are just a few of his more prominent sons.

Bavaria's dam Hobella was the 2016 ataa jumper horse of the year. she is actively competition in hunter / jumper classes in east texas in low adult jumpers under an amateur rider. Her dam lines are out of the olympic stallion absent Absent was very capable. The quickness to learn and improve the performance of all elements, smooth change of its gait in allure, as well as its natural gifts - ease and breadth of trotting and galloping movements, flexibility, flawless exterior - all that made the stallion the national leader in dressage within a year. In the summer of 1959, Filatov and Absent went abroad to Leipzig for an agricultural exhibition of the socialist countries. In the same year, the equestrian pair won the Champions title of the Spartakiade of the USSR in dressage in the individual competition. And then there were the Pre-Olympics competitions in St. Gallen in Switzerland, he won 2nd prize.Absent participated in three Olympics. Paired with Filatov in Rome in 1960 and in Tokyo in 1964, it won gold and bronze; in Mexico City in 1968 it came fourth under the saddle of Ivan Kalita.

Within ten years, Absent became the father of more than 70 foals. Among them: the breed record Amethyst, as well as Elba, Dombai, Abakan, Argument, Aconite. A lot of victories were won on Abakan, a male offspring of Absent, under the saddle of the honored master of sports, the World, European and Olympic Champion, Elena Vladimirovna Petushkova. Today the blood of Absent flows in the Russian riding breed. The stallion Absent can probably be named the most famous horse of the Soviet Union. A black headstrong Akhal-Teke under the saddle of Sergei Filatov, more than once it became the champion of the USSR and the prize-winner of the Olympic Games, a branch of its breed was the pride of our country.

Her grand sire astrachan was the Number One Ranked Elite purebred stallion in North America in both the 1999 and 2002 ATAA gradings.  He has proven himself on the endurance trail, with over 485 AERC miles with Jas Shearer-McMahon.  He and Jas participated in the 2001 2001 mile XP ride and he finished stronger than he started.

Khan has the light, elegant build that helps make Akhal-Tekes such a comfortable ride, with a narrow, but deep chest.  Khan has excellent Akhal-Teke type, receiving grades of 8.0 in the 1999 and 2002 gradings from Dr. Tatyana Ryabova, the head inspector of the Russian Studbook.  He has the famous metallic coat and passes this on with regularity to his pure and part-bred offspring.  His hooded eye, sparse mane and forelock also contribute to his exotic look.  He has 8" cannon bone and well-formed, hard hooves. Astrachan consistently sires correct, typey foals with his excellent type, temperament and gaits, from a wide variety of mares.

His offspring are showing their adaptability and talent as endurance horses, hunter-jumpers, ranch horses, pleasure horses and dressage horses.

Prince has been well started and shows incredible talent can go in any direction, but the jumper ring may be where he will excel the most.  Prince was an orphan and needs a strong confident handler on the ground.

He is very friendly but needs to have his boundaries reinforced as sometimes I think he feels more like a person than a horse and wants to cuddle right up to you.  He has the most amazing trot and canter, with a canter like that the jump distances just seem to magically appear as he is so rhythmic.

Prince is for sale due to no fault of his own, his owner is in financial hardship and needs to sell.

Prince would do best in a program under the guidance of an experienced coach.  Could be ridden by an amateur but needs to have the direction and experience of a knowledgeable coach to guide both horse and rider.

Prince has lived in an outside paddock his whole life and shows some anxiety when kept in a box stall so his new owner will need to work with him to help him relax and be comfortable in that environment.  Prince is happy to be turned out in a field on his own or to be with other horses.  He is very social and gets along easily with other horses both mares and geldings.

Prince is both physically and mentally ready to begin serious training in whatever career path you choose.  An excellent prospect for any discipline.

Prince could still use work to install great ground manners. He is fabulous outside but can get anxious inside in a box stall. When inside and feeling anxious he can be a bit pushy. Outside where he is relaxed you can ground tie him groom him saddle him clip him and he is totally fine. Outside I would rate his disposition at a 2 inside at a 7. If you are firm with him and set the expectations immediately he is very good. This is why I recommend an experienced handler or at the very least an amature who is under the watchful eye of a coach or trainer.

Beautiful athletic 7 year old grey and unraced Thoroughbred gelding.

He was too slow at the track and never raced. He has been lightly restarted in dressage and over fences with amateur owner since April of this year. He is very athletic and showing a willingness to work.

He loves to jump and tucks his knees! While he is green and has not done much, he is a quick learner and tries hard to please. He has excellent manners and stands well in cross ties, for the farrier, vet, and is very easy to haul. He is low maintenance and is currently living outside with a run-in shelter. He is very attractive and a nice prospect for multiple disciplines!

I am a professional trainer and he has been one of my best all time horses to teach others on. Currently he is in my lesson program. I do not take people to shows anymore. He would be happier with a show home because he loves going places.

Sadly Outgrown Pony Looking for New Best FriendHoney Badger2005 14.1-3/4 bay Welsh cross geldingUSEF #5250344Remi has been sadly outgrown and needs a new partner. He has a big step, good form over fences and is pleasant in the hack. He is honest with no stop and easily handles the regular large division. He requires minimal to no prep. Remi is easily handled by a child, bathes, clips, loads and stands for the vet and farrier. He has a slight sound sensitivity issue which is resolved with ear plugs.Remi is loveable and easy to live with, equally enjoying a hack out in a halter and leadline and performing in horse shows. Except for a two month stint with a professional trainer, Remi has been handled and worked by a child. He is best suited for a confident rider, but has been ridden by beginners.Remi has had no maintenance beyond a daily joint supplement. We have owned him for five years and have had no soundness issues. He is up to date on all vaccinations, been microchipped and has a lifetime recording with USEF/USHJA.

Notes:

Lord Adonis 2008, 16.2hh Westfalen stallion.

Lord Adonis took everyone's breath away when he was presented and approved at the Oldenburg Hengst-Tage in 2010. He was then imported to the U.S.A. in June 2012, and only a couple months later was taken to the 2012 North American Stallion Performance Testing where he received an impressive 7th in Dressage (110.78), 7th in Jumping (111.83), and 8th Overall (111.58), and was one of only four horses inspected for approval by the Hanoverian society where he received Elite status. Some of the scores he received during the testing are: Character: 9; Temperament: 8.5; Constitution: 9; Stadium Jumping: 9; Free Jumping: 9; Cross Country: 8.5; Walk: 8.5; Canter: 8.25; Trot: 7.5.

His modern type, confident, yet quiet demeanor and versatile talents have fully licensed him with the following breed organizations and studbooks: Westflisches Pferdestammbuch e.V., Westfalen Horse Assoc., Oldenburg Springpferde International, German Oldenburg Verband, American/Canadian/German Hanoverian Society, Rheinland Pfalz Saar, Royal Belgian Sport Horse Society (Studbook sBs) KWPN (regA) Canadian Sport Horse and Canadian Warmblood.

Sire: Lordanos - Sire of current International performers HH LETS FLY, LORDANO, LA BAMBA, LORAIN VAN LORDANOS, DRAGON LEON,  LILLY LORDANOS, etc. 2013 USEF LEADING JUMPING SIRE. Sire of LORDAN, winner of the Zoetis $1 Million Grand Prix at HITS Saugerties. The 9 year won $350,000 for owner/rider Nayel Nasser and was the Leading USEF $25,000 PLUS GRAND PRIX horse. Lordanos career began by winning nearly 40 tests for young jumpers in series. He has been successful in 1.40m- and 1.50m-classes for eleven years. The family horse won advanced (S) classes with all three riding Sosaths - Janne, Gerd and Hendrik and was victorious in both the Big Tour and in puissance, as he jumped over a wall of 2 meters with Janne.

In 2007, Lordanos presented a good number of horses that qualified for the Bundeschampionat. After Lumos victory in Warendorf in 2004, Light On was a high placed finalist in the class for five year olds in 2007. The top priced Verden auction horse Lohengrin became the Hanoverian Show Jumper Champion and another son won the licensing in Finland. Lordanos also sired Lex Lugar, 2010 German National Derby winner, who he shared the VTV Stallion of the Year title with in 2010.

Dam: Verb.Pr.St. Royalty sired by Raphael. Raphael began his stud career in the Oldenburg breeding are, demonstrating his prowess as a sire from the start. He regularly procreated new top horses for all riding divisions even with mares of diverse quality and has often produced prime horses for the Vechta and Verdan auctions. He has advanced to a stallion of world repute; top international riders value the quality of Raphael offspring. These include Ramina, Ricci, Rockefeller, Raphaelo, Robinson and many more. Raphael has proved himself numerous approved sons, such as: performance test winners Ravallo and Ragazzo; Radiator, ridden by Rene Tebbel is currently one of the most successful stallions in international showjumping; and Canada's own Rio Grande, who himself won his performance test, and showed very successfully in international showjumping, qualifying for the 1996 Olympics. The gelding Millcreek's Raphael is an extremely successful, both under showjumper Eric Lamaze!

Adonis had his performance career cut short due to injury in his stall in 2012. He is sound for breeding and pasture.

Adonis is a pleasure to have around, easy to handle and general demeanor is excellent. Adonis is easy to collect for A.I and his semen is outstanding, its very rare occurrence that a mare need to be bred twice!

To sell Adonis is a decision we did not take lightly and he will be greatly missed.

He is current on all vaccines, coggins, worming etc.  Ideal project for someone wanting an athletic, nice moving crossbred! He should mature to 16.1+ hands.

Notes:

8 year old registered Gypsy Vanner gelding, standing just over 15 hands but very stocky and thick.

Black Jacks Bravo is an athletic and forward Gypsy. Absolutely no buck, rear, kick, or biting. Blackjack loves to be trail ridden in a group or alone and goes in english or western tack. He can jump a course in the arena as well as over coops, logs, and through water in a cross country course!

Has been professionally trained with lots of exposure and miles. Put your leg on him and he will go - not your average Gypsy! He walks, trots, canters, backs, collects, stretches, and goes off leg pressure/seat very well. He has a great stop and goes in just a plain snaffle. Loves dressage and has been worked up to training level but has the moves and potential for upper level.

Has tons of driving experience on the trails, fields, roads; including showing in pleasure and combined driving but would need a refresher as its been a couple years. Has also been to dressage shows, hunter paces, and other pleasure shows.

Trailer loads great and comes off the trailer very relaxed! He's a gentleman on the ground and stands great for the vet, farrier, as well as clipping, tying, grooming, tacking, and bathing. Bravo is very sweet, willing, and enjoys attention!  Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to own such a brave horse.

We are moving and unfortunately don't have the room for him.

Notes:

Fancy 6 year 15.2 H TB/Perch/Welsh cross gelding.

A former pleasure and combined driving horse. Sparrow is safe driving on roads or fields, single or double. He has had 90 days under saddle training, and has progressed quickly, with 3, good quality gaits. Loves hacking out cross country and is brave and straight forward. Wonderful event, dressage, show, hunting prospect. Bathes, clips, ties and  stands for the farrier.

Loads and travels easily. In the time we have had Sparrow, I have seen him weave "one time" (When he first arrived at the barn.) I put him behind a full gate, and have never witnessed him weaving again. He is quiet and well mannered in the barn. He is a lovely boy !
