This gorgeous mare is fit and ready to show in the all around events. APHA points in western pleasure trail and longe line. A futurity winner and multiple circuit championships. This mare is suitable for any level rider and is very honest with youth and novice riders. Would be a great small fry/ walk trot mount to take into lope classes. Very nicely started lead change. There are very few double registered mares with her credentials - don't miss out on this kind mare.
APHA Show Record: ROM in Longe Line with 40 Longe Line, 4 Trail and 7 Western Pleasure points.

PHBA Reserve World Champion Amateur 2YO Mare
Record: PHBA Reserve World Champion Amateur 2YO Mare
Breed Incentives: AQHA Incentive Fund
Here is an opportunity to won a proven show horse with unlimited potential as a broodmare! JVF Blond Temptation, “Skipper”, is an AQHA Bronze Trophy winner (Amateur Weanling), AQHA Top Ten earner (6th) Amateur Yearling, and a Palomino Reserve World Champion (Amateur 2YO Mares). Her full siblings include:
JVF Temptations: 2008 buckskin mare, 5-time ABRA World Champion and AQHA Top Ten/Finalist
JVF Cant Tempt Me, 2010 chestnut gelding, multiple AQHA Top Tens.
JVF Tempt Me Not, 2013 palomino mare, Palomino World Champion, multiple AQHA Top Tens.
We are dramatically reducing our broodmare numbers, and reluctantly offer Skipper for sale; we are keeping her 2015 full sister, April, and are looking forward to showing her.
Skipper is correct and beautiful she has a deep hip a beautiful and well set neck, muscle, and lots of pretty! She is of good bone and good feet. Although we did not fit her to show this year; she is in great condition and knows her job. Skipper has a lot of personality and a super disposition. She has been kept in the show barn since being weaned, and would need to be acclimated to life as a broodmare, and/or outside life.
PHBA Show Record: 2014 Reserve World Champion Amateur 2YO Mare, 2013 PHBA World Show 4th Amateur Yearling Mare. 16 PHBA Halter points.

Cash has been shown and placed in reining, working cow horse, barrels, and poles in PHBA. He has a World Championship in reining and has qualified and shown in world in working cow horse as well. 2011 Red Roan Mare (Good To Know x Barely Zippo) Consignor: Tiffany J. Pattison - (Ohio)
Western Pleasure Point Earner
Record: Western Pleasure Point Earner
Breed Incentives: AQHA Incentive Fund
This gorgeous red roan mare is quiet, sound, and ready to show! She has been in training since she was two and lightly shown as a three and four in the western pleasure classes. Shown at one Quarter Horse show and earned points in the novice amateur and green. We've even done lead-line with my two year old daughter. This mare is wicked flat in the front and deep hocked. She has no motor or desire to go fast. She is talented enough for the Green and solid enough for a novice rider. No vices.
Show record:
1/2 Open Green Western Pleasure and 1 Novice Amateur Western Pleasure points.

AQHA & PHBA Halter Point Earner. HYPP N/H.
Record: AQHA & PHBA Halter Point Earner. HYPP N/H.
Breed Incentives: AQHA Incentive Fund
"Eve" is a royally bred young mare and I don't know you can find a mare any better bred. She is by the great Mr Yella Fella and out of an own daughter of Obvious Conclusion with her 2nd dam by Mr Conclusion. She was shown a few times and earned 3.5 AQHA halter points, and 32 PHBA halter points. Her first foal is a super 2015 colt by Hes So That, this first foal is growing very level, and is extremely balanced with plenty of leg and body. She was not bred in 2015 to bred early 2016 for an early foaling month. She is easy to handle, easy to breed, and to foal out. She has been a good first time mom and gets along well with others. She is not in show shape having just foaled in April, but I don't know of any reason she could not return to the show pen. Her potential as a broodmare is unlimited!
Show record:
PHBA: Open - 20 Halter and 3 Color points. Amateur - 12 Halter and 3 Color points.
AQHA Open - 2 Halter points with 2 Reserves.
AQHA Amateur - 1.5 Halter point with 3 Reserves

2004 Red Dun Gelding (Peponitas Pine x Fourteen Carat Cody ) Consignor: Wendy Clatterbuck - (VA)
Ranch and Trail Horse
Record: Ranch and Trail Horse
This well-broke horse is for sale only because his owner died. He was purchased from his breeder. He is a useful 11 year old ranch horse, used to work cattle on the farm and, for fun, brought in cattle and did turn-backs for Grady Duncan's cutting horse operation. THis horse has also been used to work colts with a flag in the round pen. He is sound, an easy keeper and is easy to live with. His dam's sire is A Classic Cody, from Mountain Top Ranch in the Shenandoah Valley. His late owner took him on a few competitive trail rides and always came home with ribbons. He is a handsome, big bodied red dun who stands 15.2 hands, powerful enough for a substantial man yet well-sized for a woman. He will stand all day in tack. As his owner's health deteriorated, the horse took portable oxygen tanks and other odd attachments in stride. He is basically fearless and would make someone a nice horse.
He is a light cribber, that is controlled with a strap.

Breed Incentives: AQHA Incentive Fund
2013 AQHA/ABRA Incentive Fund filly by Congress Champion "Only Intuition" and out of a good producing Palomino mare by World Champion sire, "The Epitome". She is also IBHA and Palomino-bred registry eligible.
Great minded mare, talented, sweet, quiet and started under saddle. Unfortunately, due to an ankle injury she is being sold as broodmare sound only. Surgery is an option for her but the outcome may not guarantee soundness, as with any surgery the outcome is never known until after the surgery. She was seen at Stillwater Equine. Her lameness is in her left back ankle and is visible at the slow jog. Her full sister was sold at the Tom Powers Stakes sale and is being prepared to debut as a 2 yr old in 2016. This filly will be a great producer with her bloodlines: Only Intution x Invitation Only, The Epitome x Deck of Stars, Heza Fistfula Zip x Zippo Pine Bar bloodlines.
The video was shot on 7-15-15 in MN and on 8-25-15.

2009 Sorrel Mare (Skeets Peppy x Miss Taffy Doc) Consignor: Kimberly Bundridge - (Ohio)
NRHA $285.09
Record: NRHA $285.09
Beautiful, kind mare that could excel in reining or ranch riding, and was started on cattle. I even hoped on riding her in western dressage as she has such gorgeous movement. This mare has excellent manners and loves people. She is sensible, not spooky and enjoys trail. With her pedigree, mind, and conformation she is the type of mare you want to breed. I planned on making her my forever horse, but my husband has developed a serious illness forcing our family to make some hard choices.
In full time professional reining training since she was two, Taffy was shown in only five NRHA classes and brought home money in three, earning $285.09. I just have not been able to invest time and money into competing, but she is sound, fit, and ready to show and win. Make her your forever horse.

Big pretty mare that has had 3 foals. Her two year old just won the Southern Ohio Open 2YO Hunter Under Saddle!! She has been trained over fences and still has it! She has started back riding again and is quite a loper. With her breeding and training, someone could have a lot of fun with this mare. Taught kids to ride over fences for years.

2011 Palomino Mare (HD Continental Chex x Angies Little Girl) Consignor: Alena McDonald - (Oklahoma)
SEE NEW NOTES - Reining & Cow Horse Training
Record: Reining & Cow Horse Training
Excel is a 2011 Palomino mare that is as sweet as can be. She has had a year of cutting training as a 2 year old before I purchased her. In December of 2013 she got injured by catching her hip on a latch in a run after another horse went after her. Since then she has healed up nicely and spent the past 6 months with a professional reined cow horse trainer, Sean Mayfield, and has shown no issues with the injury.
She is green but incredibly smart and ready to be finished out in the discipline of your choosing! She is up to date on vaccines and coggins. She bathes, loads, clips, stands tied, etc. This mare is extremely quiet and requires a lot of leg, or spurs, when you ride her. The only reason for selling is because I need to focus on my show horses and do not have time to finish her out.
AUCTIONEER'S NOTE: Mike Jennings spoke with trainer Sean Mayfield, who said this mare was easy going and he rode her out side a lot. He worked cattle on her and roped a practice sled on her.
Video Note. Owner said they did not lope in the video because they didn't have spurs and she was acting lazy.

This extra pretty mare has all it takes to be a top show horse. With her look and movement you cant help but to stare. Excellent conformation, big hip, straight legs and feet, long pretty neck, and baby doll head. Not only is she pretty but has the moves too. Lofty straight front leg, slow deep hock and a great profile to boot. Slows down for the western but moves out for the HUS as well. This mare has a great start but an even greater future ahead of her. Very close to being show ready. Great ground manners and takes her surroundings in nicely. Sound and barefoot. With her breeding, show her now and breed her later.

Dakotas Mambo is a pretty mover. “Jeter” is young and strong with a lot of personality to go along with his pedigree. He's young but With a little work every day he shows great promise. “Jeter” had about 20 rides in January or February and was not risen until we did the video for this auction.
Auctioneer's Note - “Dave Higgins passed away in April and the horses have been on board since then. They are a product of a breeding program Dave spent years developing from some very good Western Pleasure mares sired by My Leo Mambo. Here is an opportunity for someone to finish the development of these horses and use the potential they have.” Mike Jennings

Big, clean moving, good minded and pretty! Zana is a Ranch Riding Prospect for sure! This mare has the look and he movement to follow in her sires footsteps as a great performance horse. She has the ability to do the ranch riding or would be an awesome head horse. Zana was stated under saddle then turned out due to previous owners personal circumstances. We have started her again now and she is making great progress! She is very willing and would make a good project horse that can take you to the show pen. Should finish a little over 15 hh. Zana is up to date on everything and has been 5 panel tested NN across panel.

This horse is ready to show. Been hauled to many shows for experience nothing phases him. Has been ridden in traffic on and off the rail. Shown in longe line as a yearling. Has great potential. Will be a good kids/beginner horse once he gets a little age on him. My son has ridden him bridleless at home and in warm up ring he is pretty well broke. Very easy keeper Loads and hauls well. Needs a show home. Unfortunately we made the decision to sell due to my son being in his last year of clinicals in a Registered Nursing Program and working full time, he really has no time to ride.

Western Pleasure & Hunter Under Saddle Training
Record: Western Pleasure & Hunter Under Saddle Training
Breed Incentives: AQHA Incentive Fund
Great all around prospect. Buster has been prepared for the western pleasure and hunter under saddle and has been show ready several times. Buster has been in professional training on and off as well as being maintained at home by a novice amateur. He has only made it to the show ring on one occasion winning the western pleasure at a competitive amateur circuit. Buster was meant to be an all around horse for amateur/novice amateur competition, but my children have different interests and there is no time to devote to this talented horse. The videos show Buster strait out of the pasture, he could be fitted up quickly and begin a career as a show horse. He has been hauled to shows, as well as ridden on trails. He is always a gentleman, pastures easily and gets along well with other horses.

2008 Sorrel Mare (Slightly Zipped (QH) x Red Rulette) Consignor: Annette Richardson - (NC)
Evee is a very sweet horse and very easy to get along with, she knows all her ground work very well but does need more riding time on her. She does walk and trot but needs work on lope - thats is why I would say she needs an experienced rider on her. She stands for farrier, clips, is up to date on everything - also would make a great broodmare.

Don't Skip This Award "Sally" is a beautiful own daughter of the great "Don't Skip Zip" out if an Investment Asset mare. Absolutely gorgeous mover, deep in her hocks and flat in her knees. Well broke but has been turned out for several years. Tune her up to ride or raise top of the line western pleasure futurity babies out of her. A once in a lifetime opportunity!

2009 Brown Mare (Mr Gun Starlight x Bailey Beckett) Consignor: Daniel Meads - (North Carolina)
What a stop and turnaround! 2009 BROWN AQHA Mare, STARLIGHTHICKORYCHIC, is a very athletic, good minded mare that is a perfect prospect for the cutting or is nearly ready to go in a green reiner class. Her sire is MR GUN STARLIGHT, a NCHA money earner by the great PEPPY SAN BADGER. Her dam is by HI LO BECKETT, a son of the great HIGH BROW HICKORY (the sire of leading NCHA sire HIGH BROW CAT), and is both an ACHA and NCHA money earner. She has had 11 months of professional training in cutting/working cowhorse. This mare has been hauled and exposed at countless cuttings and has been introduced to cattle. She is pretty quiet, ties, loads and trailers nicely. She has an excellent stop and a solid, good turnaround. She also does flying lead changes on command. She is very soft and keeps a nice head position. She has seen a flag and cattle a few times and tracks movement nicely for a horse in her stage of training. She will make a nice addition to any stable and is a pure joy to have around.

2013 Palomino Filly (Colonels Smoken Chex x Bueno Bacelera)
Consignor: Victoria Karius - Iron Horse Therapeutic Riding Center - Indiana
This stunning, correct, double registered palomino filly, AQHA/APHA, has lots of chrome. 4 white socks, bald face and two stunning blue eyes. Lots of thick mane and a full long tail. This filly will get you noticed in the show ring, halter class, on the trails, pulling a buggy, in the reining ring, or just standing in your pasture. She has a pedigree that speaks for itself, and with all that pedigree that will take you where you want to go. Started in lunge line, a quick learner with a soft controlled cadence. She adores attention. Literally turns heads where ever she goes. Would make a great 4H prospect. Dont miss out on this filly. She will be gone before you can grab your check book. She will be shown in the local county fair in halter, and we are sure she will knock em all out of the ring.

2008 Sorrel Mare (A Good Machine x The Best Of Terms) Consignor: Holly Wilcher - Dave Higgins QH
SEE New Ratings!!
Western Pleasure breeding doesn't get much better than A Good Machine on the top with The Invester, Bar Flower and My Leo Mambo on the bottom. This young mare has the pedigree to do it all. She is pretty, broke and with a little work her athleticism could put you in the top of the all popular ranch classes. If a broodmare is what your looking for, look no further, your next futurity champion could be one breeding away!
Dam of #44 Dakotas Mambo.

2012 Sorrel Mare (Too Sleepy To Zip x As Flashy As It Gets)
Consignor: Mike & Stephanie Jennings- Jennings Performance - Virginia
Breed Incentives: AQHA Incentive Fund
As Sleepy As It Gets is a very attractive mare with a great Pleasure horse pedigree. Her real value will be as a broodmare where she will be able to pass along her "pretty" and quality of movement. "Alice" is broke to ride, however, she is not sound enough to be a show horse. She has been ridden enough to show in a few Ranch Pleasure classes and loves to go on trail rides. The ringbone in her left front foot causes her to move short in that leg. Some days she works out of it to the point it is barely noticeable. We have ridden her a lot this year with no medication, and the videos provided show her straight from the stall with no lunging or medication.
We feel someone can have some fun with “Alice” while she is raising some fancy babies. She has been rated at 4 for level of rider because she is a 3 year-old and does not have as much mileage as an older horse. Alice has good transitions, can side pass, go over poles and has a good start on a turn-around. She has been easy to ride on the trails.
