Raphia is a big, beautiful mare who would make a great addition to a sport horse breeding program. 

Both of her foals have been high-scoring premium foals at their AHHA Approvals.  Her daughter, Daphne RC, was the site champion mare at her 2014 AHHA Approvals and has gone on to start her successful career in the young jumper ring.

Raphia is sired by Love Affair, who is hailed for his wonderful temperament and ability to pass on his type and movement. He received his initial approval from the AHHA as a two-year old and hails from several top Holsteiner lines. His dam, Diana 23, was awarded state premium as a two year old and was a regional champion. His second dam, Jessika 2, produced the imported stallion Goodwill. This female line produced one of the leading sires of dressage horses in the world who stood at Rancho Corazon named Manchester.

Raphia's dam, Celestine, produced multiple USEF competitors. Lebeau was still competing in 2010 with several beginner riders in the 3'0 hunters and 2'9" jumpers. Another full sibling, Ocala, has been maintained as a riding horse for the highly successful elite equestrian college, Centenary College.

Second dam, Up to Date, produced a USEF hunter competitor named Limerik owned by Christine Conte who competed in the beginner and schooling hunters.
