The epitome of modern sporthorse breeding, Waterford was the 1998 Stallion Licensing Champion and 1999 Stallion Testing Champion with some of the highest scores ever of 149.94 overall, 154.48 Dressage, 115.84 Jumping.  He is ranked in the top 1% of all warmblood stallions for breed value in dressage by the World Sporthorse Breeding Federation.

Imported in 2006 from the Hanoverian State Stud at Celle, Waterford is a successful competitor in the U.S.A. with multiple championships and wins in dressage and sport horse in-hand classes including USEF National Champion at 3rd level in 2007.  He has produced several licensed stallion sons, state premium and performance tested mares, and offspring selected for the prestigious Verden auction in Germany.  In the USA, he has sired USDF Champion and Reserve Champion Sport Horses in hand as well as State and National winners in dressage.

His fantastic temperament, ridability, powerful elastic gaits, willingness to work, athletic ability and superior conformation are consistently passed on to his foals.
