Licensed in Verden, and 100-Day Tested in Adelheidsdorf (Class I Dressage Index), Dacaprio won the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championships in Verden as a three-year-old with the exceptional score of 8.9, (8.5 canter, 9's walk, trot, rideability, and conformation). He continued his success in dressage up to Intermediate Level.

Dacaprio's sire Davignon I is a son of Dressage Horse of the Century, Donnerhall. Damsire, Grand Prix competitor Caprimond, was 100-Day Test Champion and Trakehner Stallion of the Year. The Hannoveraner Jahbuch Hengst places Dacaprio in the top 20 for all sires (based on his mare rankings)and he belongs to the top 100 Dressage Sires of Germany (FN). In Europe, Dacaprio has sired five licensed sons (two licensing champions), over 35 SPS/Elite Mares, Verden Elite Auction horses and Gold Medal Foals. In 2013, Dacaprio was the damsire of the second highest selling ($480K) Premium Stallion at the Verden Licensing (Fürstenball/SPS Desert Rose/Dacaprio).

Dacaprio produces exceptional impulsion, elasticity, and modern type. His offspring are noted for outstanding rideability and trainability. In Europe, his offspring are known for their success at the European and German Riding Championships, Junior Rider Championships, Bundeschampionates and Young Horse Championships. Devina was the Six-Year-Old Grand Champion in the Bundeschampionate qualification classes. In the U.S., Dacaprio has sired AHS Top Foals, GOV, ISR/ Oldenburg N.A. Premium Foals, Elite Mares and USDF breed show champions. EMC Djanga was Mid-State Great American Filly Champion and AHS site MPT winner (7.66). EM Da Lana was AHS site Champion at her large Calif.inspection. Dalziel HHF was USDF High Score Overall Dressage Sport Horse Breeders Horse of the Year (84.1%) winning the Traveling Trot trophy. Dacaprio is approved GOV, ISR/Oldenburg N.A., Westfalen Verband, CSHA and Danish Registry.
