Colbert GTI is one of the last approved Holsteiner sons of the memorable show jumping sire Cantus.  Following a series of show jumping wins in 1999 and 2000, he became on of the most highly regarded horses of the federal championships in Warendorf and was approved for Wesphalian breeding .

Cantus is the sire of International Grand Prix and Nations Cup winners Come On, Cassius Clay, Cascavelle, Canaletto, Calido I, Calido II Celestial, and Cyrano.

Calato, the dam's sire, is one of the most accomplished sons of Capital I in the Holstein breed. 

Pippistrell is a proven producing daughter of Pilot, who was the first million-dollar show jumper sire. Pippistrell produced international Grand Prix show jumpers Lasse and Capistrano.
