Huck was bred for Western Pleasure by Cecilia Hylton; he was purchased as a yearling by professional trainer Dave Higgins of Farmville VA. He was entered as a Snaffle Bit Futurity horse and won several thousand dollars in purses. In 2011 he was shown very successfully in AQHA shows by a youth and went to AQHA Congress. We purchased him from Dave in 2012 as a 4-H project horse for my beginner daughter. They were very successful even though we had no professional trainer, just lessons from 4-H leader. He has natural athletic movement and headset, even at turnout. We expanded his talents to include horsemanship patterns, showmanship and trail class. Huck always tries to please and picks things up so quickly; he soon excelled at those classes as well.

He is extremely people oriented, comes up to you in the field and loves attention. Great barn manners and gets along great with other horses. He has been 100% sound for us either barefoot or shod. He does well out on trails and really enjoys that change of pace. We must sell him this way because my daughter moved to CA and I have a significant arm injury and am unable to ride him or show him to prospective buyers. He is just too talented with huge potential to resume showing and winning for his new owner.

He is not hot, great manners and very easy to get along with; huge personality. No health issues or vices. He is an easy horse to fall in love with and enjoy; smooth and easy to ride. Completely spur broke and can even work patterns without using reins. He will be your new best friend and show star.
