Peppy is a lovely mare with excellent disposition and great bloodlines. She is very calm and kid friendly with no vices. Her first year of showing with youth rider in AQHA shows was 2011; she had a great show season earning novice youth points in Hunter Under Saddle, Huntseat Equitation, and Western Pleasure classes and also earned a Reserve Circuit Champion. She also won the Virginia State 4-H Western Pleasure Classics Championship as well as Western Pleasure Division Champion. She is a Showmanship machine and excellent with patterns for Horsemanship. We purchased her that year as a 4-H project horse for my beginner daughter. We did not have a professional trainer, just lessons from a 4-H leader, but Peppy immediately earned her multiple blue ribbons and show championships. She has a very natural headset, is spur broke, and super comfortable to ride. Great conformation, sound barefoot or shod and healthy always. She has a great personality and excellent manners.

I also rode her out on trails, both alone and in groups and she was quiet and went through water, etc. with no fuss. We added trail class to her repertoire and she picked it up no problem; she is extremely athletic and gives 100% try at all she is asked. We sadly need to let her go because my daughter is now in college; I have a significant arm injury so am unable to personally show her to potential buyers or continue to ride her. She is just too talented and awesome to be a pasture pet. She can be ridden after many months off and just as quiet as if worked daily. Never hot or fussy. She will be your newest horse show star and best friend.
