Rio Zeta is the only one of the four mares that was not born at our farm. She was purchased as a broodmare in Florida.

Zeta was started under saddle before she became a broodmare. Zeta has had four lovely foals by Cabardino ( in five years of breeding) and is in foal to Hunter Champion Cabardino again. Her foals are wonderful hunter prospects, amateur friendly, all of them bay and many with lots of chrome. She is an “alpha mare”, undisputed leader of our broodmare herd.

She currently has some scratches "dew poinsoning" , also heaves  - both of which should not affect her career as a broodmare and will hopefully clear up now that winter is over. She is registered Hanoverian, therefore foal can be registered Hanoverian as well.

Information on Cabardino

Cabardino is the USEF # 1 Hunter sire for 2017 and 2018!

Cabardino is a spectacular 4' hunter who combines scope, technique, temperament, beauty and movement in one complete package.  Cabardino is the sire of countless A circuit Hunter Champions in the US and Canada, including Circuit Champions at both WEF and Ocala. His offspring have won Hunter Derbies. He is the sire of the Sallie B. Wheeler / USEF National Hunter Breeding Champion “Sabrina” and has produced numerous hunter line class champions.
