Capella W is a young broodmare with an exceptional pedigree combing the bloodlines of the Holsteiner Premium Stallion Contendro I with the proven performance bloodlines of the Hanoverian Elite stallion Rio Grande. Capella had a lovely foal by Viva Voltaire in 2018 and is now in foal to Cabardino, the 2017 and 2018 USEF leading Hunter Sire. Capella is sound to best of our knowledge and is young enough to be started under saddle after 2019 foal is born. To best of our knowledge she should be able to be presented to GOV or Hanoverian association such that 2019 foal can be registered Hanoverian or Oldenburg. Capella has an old injury/scar – RH hock.  

Capella's dam, Rio's Raida is one of our very best broodmares. Capella's half-brother (same dam) is Stakkato Grande – exceptional hunter – licensed stallion (now gelded ) – winner of several Hunter Derbies at the very young age of 6 during 2018. Exceptional technique over jumps! 

Capella's sire Contendro I : The career of the extraordinary sire Contendro I in key words: 1999 Holstein premium stallion, winner of the 2000 stallion performance test, placed in the 2001 Holstein Riding Horse Championships and nominated for the Bundeschampionat. His sire, Contender, is one of the world's leading jumper-makers. Contendro I is one of the best advertisements for the famous Holstein performance line 104 a. By the time he was 14 years old, he was a prize-winning millionaire. Meanwhile, Contendro's offspring have won more than 1.6 million Euros in prizes. Nearly 40 of his offspring successfully compete in advanced (S) level dressage. At least 86 of his sons were licensed and more than 98 daughters have been awarded a State Premium. Contendro I has been leading WBFSH event sire list and has placed well in the jumper sire list as well.

Cabardino is the USEF # 1 Hunter sire for 2017 and 2018!

Cabardino is a spectacular 4' hunter who combines scope, technique, temperament, beauty and movement in one complete package.  Cabardino is the sire of countless A circuit Hunter Champions in the US and Canada, including Circuit Champions at both WEF and Ocala.
