Elena has a chestnut colt by Elite Hanoverian stallion Viva Voltaire by her side and is sold with the foal. The foal was born on April 15, 2019.

Can stay at the farm with her foal by foot until mid-May and be bred back to a stallion standing at our farm if purchaser so desires. Normal fees apply and horses (mare and foal by foot) would need to be insured / stay here at purchaser's risk.

The 2019 colt is Elena's 9th foal born at our farm. Elena typically produces modern-type, amateur friendly horses with great movement and lots of scope for the H/J market. 

Elena's sire is Esprit D'Amour, an Open Jumper who was standing at our farm and successful up to WC Qualifier. Espri D'Amour's sire is the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2015 Espri. Espri sired ”E.T. FRH” who won World Cup in Show Jumping twice under Austrian Hugo Simon. 

Elisa's dam's sire is Rio Grande, “arguably the best Hunter/Jumper sire in Canadian history”. 

Viva Voltaire, Elite Hanoverian stallion and foal's sire

Viva Voltaire has proven to be an exceptional and versatile sire of hunter, jumper and dressage champions. He has top performance pedigree featuring Voltaire, Grannus and Argentinus. Viva Voltaire has proven himself in the jumper ring, winning the Ontario Jumper Championship for 4 and 5 year old horses as a Four Year old (!) and claiming the Reserve Championship title both in Ontario and nationally at the Royal Winter Fair as a Five year old. Due to an injury he was retired to stud as a six year old. Two offspring from his first crop of foals competed at the 2011 Pan Am Games in dressage. Viva's Salieri W and Tom Dvorak achieved the highest score for the silver medal Canadian team and finished 4th individually.  Viva Voltaire has sired several approved stallions, including AHS approved stallion Vive Victory, who as per magazine “Der Hannoveraner”, demonstrated almost unlimited jumping potential at the stallion inspection.  Viva offspring have won numerous   A circuit Hunter Championships in the US and put Viva Voltaire on the USEF Hunter Sire ranking.  Viva typically produces very athletic horses with lots of chrome, good looks, excellent movement, good technique over jumps and the most wonderful temperament.

Rio Grande, Elisa's dam's sire

Rio Grande - a performance stallion extraordinaire and arguably the most successful H/J sire in Canadian history. Rio Grande was the winner of his stallion performance test and an international show jumper, representing Team Canada on several occasions. In 2005, Rio Grande was the leading living sire of hunters as per USEF ranking. Rio Grande's own versatility, athleticism and outstanding temperament are mirrored in his offspring's multifaceted success. Rio has produced numerous premium mares, approved breeding stallions, successful eventing and dressage horses. Most notably, Rio Grande is the sire of many of the top Hunters (formerly) competing in the US, such as Rio Renoir, Eye Remember Rio, Rios Splash, Valiant and 2002 AHSA Horse of the Year - Rio Bronco. Several of Rios offspring have competed successfully at the Open level of Show Jumping. The Hanoverian mare Rios Rhapsody has won major Grand Prix competitions in Florida and Canada. Catwalk was the winner of two World Cup Qualifiers in 2007 and represented Team Canada at the WC Finale. To quote the editorial of the February 2005 issue.
