Notes:

Amalia BEC is an August 2016 Friesian x Oldenburg filly. She was bred at Blackshire Equestrian Centre in Randolph Minnesota.

Her sire was the now deceased Friesian Stallion Hessel H

Her dam is the Oldenburg NA mare Hopes Flame

Mali is a bright and brilliant young prospect. At 15.3+hh she is set to mature well over 16 hands, and has both the bone and foot to support the growth. She is lightly under saddle (w/t), and is accustomed to longing, trailering, tying, vetting and the farrier. She is generally the first to greet you in the field, and to date has not been a problem in a herd situation. She does prefer turnout to stabling, but can be managed either way.

I purchased Mali as a weanling, and in the last several months have come to the conclusion that we are not well matched. She is a sweet and personable young mare, but also extremely dominant. This has resulted in a need for consistency in training that I cannot provide. In addition, she requires a knowledgeable and tactful hand. I adore this mare, but do not believe she would be well suited for a beginner.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with further questions.

As Mali is located in the middle of Montana, I will add a link to a local transporter. She does a wonderful job and is situated not too far from me.
