Notes:

PSU Rox All Nite, “Ella,” is a good-minded mare that is willing and athletic under saddle. We believe this mare is deaf, but she has been that way since birth and it has not impacted her training to this point. Ella would be best suited for Reining or Ranch Horse classes.

Each horse was born and raised at Penn State University. They are a part of the Equine Science Program and are taught basic ground handling skills such as grooming, leading, yielding to pressure, tying, picking up feet, and standing for the vet and farrier. They have been exposed to bathing, clipping, and loading/unloading on a stock trailer as well noises associated with football games and fireworks. During their time in this program, each horse has lived outside in mixed groups as well as stalled individually at night. The horses learn to round pen, lunge, and are green broke to walk, jog, and lope under saddle. They are worked with by a variety of students with various skill levels.

Her sire, PSU He Rox The Nite, is a double registered AQHA/APHA stallion. He is the son of Gunners Special Nite who boasts a LTE of $242,000, with wins including two World Equestrian Games gold medals, the NRHA Open Futurity Reserve Champion, NRHA Intermediate Open Futurity Reserve Champion, and was the 2018 #1 NRHA Leading Sire. Recently GSN offspring have surpassed $2 million in total earnings.

Her dam, PSU Cee Kuel Step, is a Penn State born and raised mare out of the great-producing mare, Cee Jackie Step. This is her second foal born on campus and so far, she is producing exactly what we had hoped for. Her foals are well made, attractive, athletic and trainable.

Hip: 14.2-1/2 h at withers, 15 h at hip as of March 25, 2020.
