Jez would like to be an event horse, but we are a dressage barn.

Jez was started last fall, and worked by a 15 yr old girl under the supervision of an FEI Dressage rider and trainer.

She is super super sweet around the barn, the kind of horse you want to love on because she enjoys the attention. She is turned out with other horses, easy keeper, no maintenance, and barefoot. Under saddle she is easy off the leg, with a good go button, but not overly hot to the aids. She is not spooky. She is quite comfortable to ride.

She has an easy canter button. She prefers a balanced rider with light steady hands, but is tolerant of less educated hands - she merely becomes fussy in the contact. Although we are not a jumping barn we have started Jez over fences and have found that she really enjoys jumping. She is forward and quiet to her fences.

It is apparent to us that she would prefer a job that regularly includes hacking and jumping. She is good on the trail and is happy to lead or be second.

She is for sale because my daughter (the 15 yr old) is interested in moving up the levels in dressage more than she is in jumping.
