Her sire Emerald RC's pedigree speaks for itself. He is by Emerald Van't Ruytershof out of a mare by Andiamo. Emerald Van't Ruytershof and his rider Harrie Smolders were 2010 reserve champions at the World Championship for young horses in Zangersheide; Emerald was 6 at the time. This was followed by countless victories at the highest level, with wins in 2013 in the Nations Cup in both Aachen and Gijon. In 2015 they won the Nations Cup in Falsterbo and the World Cup leg in Washington. In the World Cup final in Gothenburg of 2016 they came in 2nd, after which they participated in the Olympic Games in Rio and won the Nations Cup in Rotterdam. In 2017 there was a win in the Chantilly GP, and a 2nd place in the Versailles GP, and the following year a win in the Bordeaux GP and a 2nd place in the Cannes GP. After his brilliant career, Emerald retired at the beginning of 2019, to fully focus on breeding. Due to his impressive palmares and qualities as a stallion, and his many successful offspring, Emerald is one of the absolute top favorites among breeders.

Emerald RC's damsire Andiamo competed successfully in Grand Prix level show jumping and Intermediate dressage, and is a proven sire of many successful horses.

Kilauea RC's Dam's (Eyes for You RC) pedigree is just as strong. Damsire Bratt Z was the first stallion to receive a perfect 10 in free jumping at the CWHBA approval in 2004. He was competitive in the Open 1.30m and 1.35m divisions in Wellington, Florida during the 2008 Season, piloted by Olympic Gold Medalist Eric Lamaze. He is extremely respectful and has a very kind disposition. His sire, Baloubet du Rouet, is one of the best performing stallions of all time. He has won three consecutive World Cup finals, two Olympic medals including the individual Gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games with Roderigo Pessoa. The dam's sire, Capitol I, has numerous offspring (Dobel's Cento, Cassini, Calato, Carthago, C-Indoctro...) performing successfully all over the world, earning top honors at world championships, as well as Olympic Games.
