Notes:

Remingtons Royal Destiny is a 14hh adorable, flashy bay roan Welsh cross pony. My now 13 year old daughter has been his rider for the last three years and is, sadly, almost outgrown him and is ready to move up to a bigger horse.

When we bought him as a 5 year old in 2017, there was (and still is) another pony at our stable with the same nickname of ""Remy""! So, we changed his barn name to ""Stitch"" and decided that ""Experiment 626"" was going to be his show name.  I never got around to changing his registered name, so he is still registered with the Welsh Pony and Cob Association of America and the USEF (lifetime membership) under his original name.  His Coggins and some of his show results are under Experiment 626.

He is very athletic - a strong jumper who enjoys his job and performs best with a confident rider. He has a lovely stride, gets into a beautiful frame and is a smooth mover.  He is eye-catching and has a great ""show face"" tending to be on his best behavior and knowing he is on display.

He has been professionally coached for the past few years and has come along nicely.  He is an honest and bold jumper; in fact, he likes a challenge, and is nimble on his feet for rollbacks. He has a good quick lead change in both directions, nice departures and decelerations, smooth gaits and a forward trot. He has lovely form over fences and keeps a nice balanced pace around a course.

He is currently schooling between 2'3"" and 2'6"" with lots of scope and has jumped higher with his previous owner.  He does very well in equitation and hack classes at shows, but would also excel as a jumper, eventer, or possibly even an endurance mount. We were at a show with an outdoor event style course the other week and he loved it!

My daughter has done well with him at shows. He was a Pennsylvania 4-H junior champion as a three-year-old and was the 2018 Colonial Classic Short Stirrup (Equitation) Champion.  He has shown with ponies and horses and is in the ribbons at every show.

He is best for a confident rider with intermediate experience or greater and who is in a lesson program. He is currently ridden with spurs and with a crop on occasion.

He has been on trail rides and behaved very well, doesn't buck or rear and has no trouble loading and unloading. Easy to groom and good ground manners, behaves well on the lunge line and cooperates with the vet and the farrier. He is barefoot, up to date on all shots and worming and had his teeth floated last month. He is now and has always been sound. He does crib, however, and has a collar for that.  He is currently on SmartPak supplements and we recommend continuing them. We will include the remainder of current supplement shipment, along with several turnout blankets, pony tendon boots, pony bridle and bit and crib collar.  I will also include a list of his current feed regimen.

We love him dearly and are only selling because our daughter requires a larger horse.  We knew this day was coming but are still sad to let him go.  But he is too nice a pony not to be ridden by another rider who will love him as we do.
