Journey is a 7 year old, 17 hand registered Quarter Horse and registered Paint gelding. He has fantastic bloodlines and is very typey. Journey has had much time off due to an injury. Please see vet notes for complete disclosure. With months of stall rest, Journey was able to recover and has been sound and ready to move back into work. Due to so much time off, he is considered green and will need to be treated as a green horse as he is brought along. Journey is a beautiful flat kneed mover with a ground-covering stride. He is more of a kick ride and is typically lazy. He sometimes can be sulky to get moving forward after time off, but with regular work, that goes away. On the ground, he loves to have his own person, and thrives with attention. He ties, and stands to be groomed/tacked. He's currently living in a stall with daily turnout and does best with ample turnout time. Regarding loading and trailering, we don't know this since we have never taken him anywhere. The same is true for manners for clipping as we have never clipped him. We have always turned him out alone to avoid further injury, but other horses are beside him, and he does just fine

Journey is for sale due to his owner's daughter graduating from college and moving away to start a career. With Journey needing consistent riding while coming back after an injury, she is not available to spend the time with him that he needs.

This horse is an excellent prospect for Hunters, Pleasure, or even Dressage.  He is young and has his entire career still ahead of him, and he is ready to finish your way!!!
