Aluska's, or Lux as he is affectionately known, sire is Abrikos who had CDI Grand Prix success in Dressage at Devon, The Royal Winter Fair, and other competitions and short listed for the Canadian Olympic Dressage Team. (youtube Gallager Abrikos )
Abrikos was imported from Starozhilovsky Farm and is the grandson of Absent of the Russian Olympic Dressage Team.
Aluska's dam is Devushka of Soltice. She, like Abrikos, is homozygous black and they are registered ORs.
This is a rare opportunity to own a horse of this stellar blood line and unique history.
This lovely gelding had a later start in order to give him time to grow. He is going nicely under saddle and will finish fancy. He is a great mover but is still incredibly smooth. His gates are rideable for days. Lux was purpose bred for Dressage but will and is SHINING as a quality hunter.
Lux is green, but very respectful and is safe enough for an advanced beginner/intermediate in a program but also has the quality for a professional. He is difficult to bridle but getting better every time he sees it.
Stands tied for grooming (with the vacuum), farrier, vet, bathing, etc. Gets along well with others and is easy to be around.
UTD on all vaccines and teeth floated in March. He is ready for his next person to finish him!
