Hip 131: Gentle Heart by Robyn Cook

Pencil - 20" x 17.5"
Notes:

Growing up on a small farm in Ozark, Missouri, Robyn Cook was almost always out riding horses, and If she wasn't riding, she was drawing.

Being self-taught has made it a rather long and challenging experience, more than Robyn would've imagined, and by her own admission, she still has a lot to learn. That challenge is what keeps her trying harder every time she starts a new drawing; she wants to find a way to do a better job than she did on the last piece.

Although she has always been known for drawing horses, a few years ago, she started drawing PBR bulls, and that has been a very interesting experience. Trying to capture their personalities and attitude has been so much fun. Plus, she likes to add a little humor to their portraits when she can. She wants to make people smile when they see her drawings.

Most of all, she has met some wonderful people and made many new friends throughout this career. That has been more rewarding than anything else.

She's always looking forward to the future and what will happen next!
