Bronze - 10 x 9 x 4.5

Edition 2 of 15

Notes:

Born in 1946, Tim Harmon has lived all his life in Arizona. Although he has worked a few years on a ranch in New Mexico, most of his cowboying has been done in Arizona. He has horses and cattle on a small ranch in the Tonto Basin area.

Having always loved to draw, Tim tried to paint, but found he was slightly color blind. As a young boy, Tim whittled and loved to work in the three dimensional. Once he started working with clay, he was hooked. Although he is mostly self-taught, Tim took a couple of workshops from two Cowboy Artists of America sculptors: John Coleman and Mehl Lawson.

Tim has received three sculpture awards from the Phippen Museum, a gold award for the piece “Switchback” from Western Artists of America, and the Joe Beeler award from Cowboy Artists of America. In 2013 he received the Phippen Foundation Award, and his piece “Mustang” is now in their permanent collection. In 2019, he received the AQHA Steeldust Award.

Tim and his wife, Frankie, enjoy meeting people as they travel with his work. His work appears in several galleries and on his website, www.harmonbronze.com.
